Our Russian River Zinfandel is sourced from the Gilsson Vineyard near the town of Windsor in Sonoma County.The 2007 once again shows the consistency of the fruit from this vineyard, displaying forward raspberry fruit as in earlier vintages.A big wine with a deep purple/red color and a long, seductive finish on the palate highlighted by hints of vanilla and toast from the new American oak barrels, the 2007 vintage is reminiscent of the 2005.
