VOLKER EISELE VINEYARD

Volker and Liesel Eisele's vineyard is located in the Chiles Valley District in the eastern hills of the Napa Valley. The fruit for our wine comes from a block that Volker and his son, Alexander, have replanted with Cabernet Sauvignon and small amounts of Merlot and Cabernet Franc.  Grapes from this vineyard provide the fine tannic structure that we enjoy in our Napa Valley Blend and our 100% Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (limited production), both sourced from this single vineyard.

For the past 30 years Volker and Liesel have enriched their vineyard soils through the use of organic farming practics with no herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers.  For the last ten years the vineyards have been certified organic by both the California Certified Organic Farmers and the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
