RICCI VINEYARD

When Tin Barn Vineyards first moved into our own winery facility in Vineburg in 2005, we naturally  wanted to source some grapes from our new Carneros neighbors. Given that our winemaker specializes in reds, what more fitting variety to choose than Pinot Noir? 

We were soon able to secure a small volume of Pinot Noir grapes from Ricci Vineyard. Located off Ramal Road three miles south of the town of Sonoma, the century-old, 200+ acre Ricci Vineyard lies in a gentle sloping valley . Little has changed here since the early 1900s, when the first farming began. Originally named "Ricci Estate" from the Grandfather's surname, today Ricci Vineyard is owned and operated by Dale Ricci, keeping the family name prominent in the wine industry.
