GILSSON VINEYARD

Our Russian River Zinfandel is sourced from the Gilsson Vineyard, which is located on Jensen Lane, just east of the small town of Windsor in Sonoma County. Planted more than 35 years ago, the Zinfandel vines in this flat sandy vineyard have been head trained and cane pruned. With the vines raised up the stakes, the grape fruiting area is elevated off the ground, allowing for better air circulation and more even ripening of the berries.
