CARL STEWART, Partner

Carl Stewart has built a successful career in finance that includes working for investment houses in the U.S. and abroad, including J.P. Morgan, Greenwich NatWest, and Zurich Capital Markets, Inc.

Carl recognized his passion for wine during his time at Harvard University. As a student, he visited wine shops and participated in wine appreciation seminars sponsored by Windows on the World restaurant in New York City. He also took wine production and wine chemistry coursework at U.C. Davis. While earning formal degrees from both Harvard and the London School of Economics, Carl knew that wine had become an important part of his life.

When he met Gray Fowler, the two shared wine discoveries and soon joined forces with winemaker Michael Lancaster to start a winery. Born in Jamaica and raised in Boston, Carl now makes his home in London, frequently traveling in search of the ideal food pairings for Tin Barn wines.
